Urgent Advice

Staff Care Services is not an emergency service. If you don't know where to turn whether you are in an emergency or need support out of normal working hours, here are some options:

  • You might contact a friend, neighbour or family member
  • Contact your GP
  • NHS Direct
  • Mental Health Helpline
    • Mental Health Matters Helpline is a confidential service staffed by highly trained and experienced Telephone Helpline Workers, offering emotional support to anyone calling. It provides information on local and national services specific to Mental Health. You do not need a diagnosed illness to call, people contact them about many different issues such as bereavement, relationship problems, loneliness/isolation and stress. Ongoing support is available, and they are also there for carers in need of support.
